Perfil das vítimas de acidentes de trabalho resultando em amputações notificados em Palmas-TO entre 2009 e 2019
Abstract
Objective: to know the profile of victims of work accidents that resulted in amputations in Palmas. Method: through a cross-sectional observation study, secondary data obtained from the Notifiable Diseases Information System, from 2009 to 2019, were analyzed. Among these data, the following were selected for analysis: sex, age group, occupation, parts of the body affected, circumstances of the accident at work, situation in the labor market and treatment regime. Results: 181 cases were identified, in which most victims are male, totaling 95,58%, a higher percentage in the age group from 20 to 39 years (52,48%) and only eight cases were women (4,42%). The most affected occupations were: agriculture (18, 88%), bricklayer (14, 44%), others (14, 44%), machine operator (13, 88%). Conclusion: according to the analyzed data, the scenario is that males are at greater risk, due to activities that require more strength, handling dangerous machines and greater resistance, increasing the chance of suffering an accident at work.
