Convergences between banking education and health education
Abstract
Objective: to expose the view of nursing students in relation to health education activities and their approach to banking education. Method: this is an exploratory-descriptive study with a qualitative approach, developed with 15 participants. Data collection took place from May to June 2022. The Iramuteq software was used for data processing. Results: the students point out the importance of health education actions as a method of empowerment and self-care for the population, however, the students show the existing convergences between banking education and health education, since there is only the transfer of information. Conclusion: there is an urgent need to enhance praxis throughout the course, contributing to bringing the student closer to the community at the various levels of care. Therefore, future before-and-after intervention studies are recommended to expose their findings.
