Gestão em saúde na atenção primária sob olhar de enfermeiros

Abstract

Objective: to know the potentialities and limitations of health management in Primary Care from the perspective of nurses. Method: Exploratory-descriptive study with a qualitative approach developed with five participants. Data collection took place between April and May 2022, in three distinct stages, and a sociodemographic questionnaire was used with a semi-structured interview script. For data processing, the Iramuteq software was used. Results: The Descending Hierarchical Classification generated a dendrogram from a textual corpus composed of 69 text segments that originated four categories: A1 - Nursing overload in the health management process; A2 - Operationalization of the health management process; B1 - Importance of training for the job market; and B2 - Contradictions involving the management process in health and nursing. Conclusion: Management was presented as a driver of health organizations, as well as help for professionals who face the administration of services and seek the good performance of the function. On the other hand, nurses who experience management report exhaustion and overload, which directly influences health care. The need for training in health management within the context of Primary Care was also evident.
