Abstract

Introduction: The concept of a Health Care Network in Brazil includes the sum of health actions and services articulated at levels of increasing complexity. Regarding workers' mental health, the prevalence of Burnout syndrome stands out as a consequence of the exhaustion suffered during work activities. Methodology: descriptive quantitative study, in which the Jibeli Questionnaire was used. Held in the municipality of Cuité, with all nursing care professionals. Results: Among the 52 participants, 54% are nurses and 46% nursing technicians, 96% of whom are female. The average age was 34.8 years. Regarding the professionals' score for signs suggestive of Burnout, the highest percentage had a score between 41-60 (42.3%), which characterizes the initial phase of Burnout. None of the participants obtained the minimum score 0-20, indicating no signs of Burnout. Conclusion: It is essential to recognize that Burnout syndrome represents a problem that directly affects the quality of life of nursing professionals, since all participants present signs of BS, therefore, it is essential to seek intervention and coping mechanisms.
