Abstract

This study aimed to analyze notifications of sexual violence against women in the state of Pará from 2017 to 2021 using the SINAN database, considering the victim's age group, race, and education level, as well as the life cycle of the perpetrator. It is an ecological, cross-sectional, retrospective study with a descriptive and quantitative approach. A total of 6,515 cases of sexual violence against women were analyzed. The data show that the most common profiles among female victims of sexual violence were children and adolescents aged 10 to 14 years (61.83%), mixed-race individuals (77.47%), and those with incomplete primary education (45.56%). Regarding the perpetrators, the most common group was adults aged 25 to 59 years (21.0%). The results are expected to contribute to raising awareness about the importance of reporting as a tool in combating sexual violence against women.
