Abstract

This research aimed to identify the strategies used to promote adherence to the human papillomavirus vaccine among adolescents. For this, an integrative review was carried out, the guiding question was "What are the strategies used to promote adherence to the Human Papillomavirus Viruses vaccine among adolescents?". The research was carried out in databases such as BDENF, BINACIS, LILACS, IBECS, Scopus/Elsevier and Web of Science. 10 articles were included in the review. As a result, educational strategies that encompass digital technologies and face-to-face health education actions stood out. Academics, health and education professionals are involved in the development and implementation of these strategies. The aim is to raise awareness of the importance of vaccination against HPV and encourage adherence among adolescents. Through educational strategies, we seek to inform adolescents about the benefits of the vaccine, clarify doubts and myths, and encourage active participation in immunization. These approaches aim to improve adherence to the HPV vaccine and contribute to reducing the incidence of diseases related to the virus. Thus, it is understood that the effective implementation of these strategies is essential to encourage adherence to the HPV vaccine among adolescents, protecting them against the diseases associated with the virus.
