UN RELATO DE EXPERIENCIA EN LA CAPACITACIÓN EN SALUD SEXUAL Y REPRODUCTIVA PARA ADOLESCENTES

Resumen

Introduction: The study reports the experience of Nursing students in conducting a training course on sexual and reproductive health aimed at adolescents, developed by the extension project “Educar e Prevenir” of the Federal University of Piauí. Objective: To describe the experience of carrying out and participating in training on sexual and reproductive health for adolescents within the scope of the “Educar e Prevenir” project. Methodology: The methodology adopted was qualitative and descriptive, based on the participants’ experiences. The course was conducted in a blended format, with lectures addressing nine main themes. Results: The results showed that the training contributed to the development of technical, ethical, and interpersonal skills, as well as encouraging leadership, empathy, and critical reflection. Conclusion: It is concluded that the experience was positive, strengthening the education of future nurses and broadening their understanding of the importance of a humanized approach to sexuality during adolescence.
