Abstract

The main objective of the study was to describe the profile of users undergoing treatment at AD III Psychosocial Care Centers. This is a descriptive study with documentary research based on secondary data from 105 medical records with collection carried out in the year 2023. For collection, a form was used containing sociodemographic variables, previous history of drug use and what led to seeking the service. The data were analyzed descriptively using the statistical program Stata version 14.0. The profile of service users is made up of men, mixed race, single, with incomplete education and no occupation. Most had relatives who also used drugs. The most used substance was alcohol, followed by tobacco and cocaine, with the majority having been admitted to the service only once. It is hoped that this study can contribute to a literary collection and that the data will help managers and service professionals in planning actions aimed at promotion and prevention related to harm reduction, prioritizing actions mainly for the identified risk groups.
