Aprendizagem de gestores municipais da Promoção da Saúde no Tocantins como estratégia para a implantação e implementação do Programa Academia da Saúde
Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the learning process of Health Promotion managers and professionals who participated in a training program focused on the implementation and execution of the Health Academy Program in the state of Tocantins, Brazil. The variables were assessed using structured questionnaires addressing participant profile, work profile, learning outcomes (pre- and post-test), and reaction, analyzed through measures of central tendency and dispersion, with application of the Shapiro–Wilk test for normality and the Mann–Whitney and Wilcoxon tests. Qualitative analysis was conducted according to Bardin’s framework, using advocacy activities and case studies as analytical instruments. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants’ theoretical performance regarding Health Promotion and the Health Academy Program. Qualitative findings indicated satisfactory appropriation of the content in most health regions, although weaknesses persist in participatory planning, use of indicators, and health information systems. High levels of satisfaction with the methodology and tutor performance reinforce the effectiveness of the training based on Permanent Health Education, highlighting its potential for replication to strengthen Health Promotion in local territories.
