Registration and monitoring of cytopathological examination
a tool to support the Community Health Agent
Abstract
Cervical cancer is a disease of progressive and slow evolution, which presents changes in the epithelium when the woman is exposed to risk factors throughout your life. Therefore, Primary Care aims to develop actions related to health promotion and prevention and early detection of this type of cancer. The objective of this study was to record the process of developing a control card that aims to assist in the continuity of the preventive examination. Descriptive study of qualitative nature, of the type of experience report, which comprised the process of elaboration of a control card to be used by professionals. The control card was elaborated based on the contribution raised by the CHA, compiled data relevant to professionals and users. The production of materials and interventions raised by the CHA shows a search for improvement in the quality of care provided, greater involvement of the multidisciplinary team and, mainly, better training of link with the user.
