Psychological violence against women in the state of Mato Grosso

Abstract

This research aims to explain cases of psychological violence against women, in order to discuss the impacts and possibilities of intervention. The ecological study combined with cross-sectional quantitative was adopted as a research method, inserting data collected on the SUS/SINAN date from 2017 to 2021, on psychological violence against women in the state of Mato Grosso. The results demonstrated the frequency with which psychological-moral violence occurs in Mato Grosso, requiring coping measures, as even in 2021 to obtain a reduced number, it is necessary to analyze the cases, and develop intervening public policies in favor of well-being of these women. It was concluded that the importance of addressing the topic applies to presenting data and information to improve the women's care network and the creation of programs that closely monitor victims of psychological violence.
