Abstract

Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has caused a complex scenario for global health, with different degrees of functional impairment and complications. Telerehabilitation has been presented as a complementary treatment method providing physiotherapeutic support at any time and in any place. Objective: to verify the effects of telerehabilitation in the treatment of individuals post-COVID-19. Methods: This is an integrative review carried out through databases, in which the inclusion criteria were: primary studies published between December 2019 and May 2023 that used telerehabilitation within the scope of physiotherapy in the rehabilitation of individuals post- COVID-19 in any languages. Results: 5 studies were selected, with a total sample of 274 participants of both sexes. Regarding rehabilitation, one was carried out in a synchronous format, three in asynchronous format and one in a hybrid format, with three studies carrying out only remote intervention, and two made comparisons between telerehabilitation groups and a control group. Conclusion: Physiotherapy rehabilitation using telerehabilitation is a feasible and safe alternative in the treatment of post-COVID-19 patients, in addition to showing high patient adherence and can be used in addition to conventional physiotherapeutic treatment or alone.
