Resumen

Enzymes have crucial functions in various fields, with filamentous fungi notably secreting extracellular enzymes. Species such as bacabas (Oenocarpus bacaba) harbor microorganisms with hydrolytic activities. Investigating the biotechnological potential of these microorganisms in Amazonian fruits is essential. This study evaluated filamentous fungi in bacabas to produce extracellular hydrolases. A semi-quantitative approach was used to assess enzymatic capacity, considering the formation of degradation halos on plates with specific media for amylase, pectinase, cellulase, and lipases. This expands our understanding of the enzymatic capability of microorganisms in Amazonian fruits.
