Percepção dos fiscais da vigilância sanitária do município de Palmas - TO sobre a Norma Brasileira de Comercialização de Alimentos para Lactentes e Crianças de Primeira Infância (NBCAL).
Abstract
The objective of the study was to describe the perception of Health Surveillance inspectors - VISA, the Brazilian Standard for the Marketing of Food for Infants and Toddlers, Nipples, Pacifiers and Bottles (NBCAL) and its legal provisions. This is a qualitative, descriptive and exploratory research. The data collection procedure took place through a Google Forms questionnaire, and for data analysis the methodology described by Bardin for content analysis was used. As for the monitoring activities carried out during the year 2022, the data referring to these actions were analyzed from the Outpatient Procedures Bulletin (BPA/SIASUS). It was identified that most of the inspectors have been working for more than 10 years, that they have satisfactory theoretical knowledge regarding the content of legislation, however, there was a significant absence of responses regarding the period in which they participated in PE actions, representing 55.6% of participants, followed by 22.2% of participants who do not remember the period of participation. The data makes us reflect on continuing education, this can generate insecurity for inspectors to carry out inspections of compliance with NBCAL legislation.
