Proposta de implementação de plano de gerenciamento De resíduos químicos em laboratórios de ensino no Norte do Tocantins

Abstract

The research proposed to describe the context of chemical waste management in the laboratories of Bioprocesses, Multididático and Clinical Analysis of the Araguaína Campus of the Federal Institute of Tocantins (IFTO), employing through an action plan, the 5S quality tool and the 3R’s principle for the initial proposal for the preparation of the Chemical Waste Management Plan (CWMP), since the institute does not have such a document. The initial proposal of the CWMP assisted the laboratories in suggestions for adjustments and compliance with each of the stages of the plan, as well as measures that meet the 3R principle in relation to the chemical waste generated in the spaces; through the use of the 5S tool the laboratories have become organized, clean, safe and visually pleasant environments. Since this is a primary research on the subject, it is expected to serve as a way for the institution to discuss future actions on chemical waste management.
